1950's wood cabinets with original hardware. The plan was to strip the many layers of paint and repaint them an awesome color, but they've been sitting in my upstate garage for nearly a year. It will happen eventually, but for now...if you want them, they're yours for $350. They would look great with a retro formica counter top.
There are multiple layers of paint, most likely lead. Some of it is chipping in spots. The least you'll get away with is a scraping in some areas. If you want perfection, stripping the entire thing is the way to go, especially since the paint is thick around the door hinges and hardware.
But if you don't need perfection....hey, this is a cheap cabinet!
